Yandex index shows many Muscovites leave homes Wed afternoon

MOSCOW, Apr 8 (PRIME) -- Muscovites were massively out as of 1 p.m. local time on Wednesday, according to a self-isolation index by Internet company Yandex, which showed 2.9 on a five-point scale.

The indicator stood at 4.8 as of 6 a.m.

Yandex launched the index in late March with a scale starting with zero, meaning many people are out, to five, when everyone is at home.
